A round of applause for Sporting Kansas City everybody.
Major League Soccer isn't number one at something on a lot of world football tables, but judging by the three kits that KC get to play in next season they are great at something... shirt designs.
As part of MLS' Jersey Week, every team in the league has been revealing the new kits they will be playing in for the 2014 season, and it's the Champions Sporting that have come out on top.
The team has revealed the new alternative hooped jersey they will be wearing this season, and along with the other two they already play, it is a magnificent collection.
From the picture at the top we have - going left to right - the 'Sporting Blue' home kit with a darker blue side, the two-toned blue stripe alternative jersey, and the black and patterned away kit.
Sporting KC were crowned MLS Champions last year after a nail-biting penalty shootout victory over Real Salt Lake and they boast an Englishman up front, striker Dom Dwyer who regularly leads the line at Sporting Park.
“As with all our kits, the new secondary jersey reflects the essence of our brand,” said John Moncke, Sporting Kansas City’s Vice President of Merchandise. “The style is influenced by fashion trends and we feel strongly that it will look great both on and off the pitch. When you look at our three kits, they are all very different from each other but together they look like a collection."
We at GiveMeSport are big fans of the hooped jersey and if Sporting ever want to send a couple our way then we wouldn't exactly say no.
