The Denver Nuggets snapped a six game losing streak by defeating the playoff hopeful-Mavericks on their home court in Denver 115-110.
A returning Ty Lawson had 20 points in the game and really dominated the contest with his ability to find the right man and score at important moments. Dirk Nowtizki managed 27 points but couldn't stop the Mavericks losing their third game in a row.
Atlanta Hawks 78-102 Portland Trail Blazers
The late contest in the NBA saw the Trail Blazers cruise past the banged up Atlanta Hawks and eventually come out winners by a scoreline of 102-78.
The headline of the game was Kyle Korver's three point streak in consecutive games ending at 127, after he failed to make any of his five three point attempts in the big loss to Portland.
