Rafael Nadal will team up with tennis legend Pete Sampras for the Mumbai team later this year in the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL), according to Reuters.
With an astounding 27 major wins between them (Nadal 13, Sampras 14) this really is a mouth-watering match up for the newly organised event which takes places in Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore and Bangkok.
The IPTL follows the hugely successful Indian Premier League (IPL) which has drawn large crowds to cricket as well as being a great money spinner for the sport.
The event will be hosted between the 28th of November to the 14th of December and will include some of the best male and female players in the sport; past and present.
Dubai have selected the men's world number two in Novak Djokovic, and former women's world number one Caroline Wozniacki. Britain's Andy Murray will represent Bangkok alongside Victoria Azarenka from Belarus.
17-time major winner Serena Williams will team up with Andre Agassi and Tomas Berdych for Singapore.
The tournament will provide a great opportunity for fans to see their favourite players from the past meet the current world's elite.
In many sports this would merely be a spectator's dream, but now has the chance in tennis to become a reality.
