Capping off a fine individual performance against Wales, Nathan Redmond's long-range shot secured a 1-0 victory for England at Derby County's iPro Stadium.
In the European Championship qualifier, Gareth Southgate's side brought their home campaign to a perfect end with a win over their fierce rivals.
An impressive-looking attack - with the likes of Redmond, Thomas Ince and Ravel Morrison starting - would've worried any defence but the Three Lions struggled to create any clear-cut chances.
But Redmond was the stand-out performer on the left-flank and his superb effort in the 56th minute secured the three points for the home side leaves them at the top of Group One with 19 points.
