Kevin Love can't play D - Chandler

New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler mocked Minnesota Timberwolves star Kevin Love during the half-time interval of last night's game at the Target Center.

Chandler was asked how the New York Knicks and himself personally could deal with the threat of Love and responded by taking a swipe at his opponent.

Speaking to a sideline reporter, Chandler said on how the Knicks could keep Love quiet:

"Oh! Go at him. He can't play D."

Chandler was alluding to Love's defense, which is not a vital component of the 25-year-old's game.

Mike Woodson's side went onto win the game 118-106 - with Chandler scoring 15 points for the New York Knicks.

The New York Knicks ended their run of seven games without a win against the Timberwolves, which will have relieved some of the pressure off of both Woodson and his players.

Chandler may have to retract his comments in the near future as Love has this week been linked with a move to Madison Square Garden.

The New York Knicks are back in action tomorrow as they face the Utah Jazz at Madison Square Garden.
