Skip Bayless loves "angry LeBron"

It seems LeBron James' recent exploits have seen even his most fervent critics come around.

Skip Beyless has long been critical of LeBron James when others have praised.

But now the outspoken media man Skip Beyless took to his page to admit that he is finally starting to change his mind on the man many fan's and analysts have championed for years.

Beyless put the change of heart down to the discovery of an angry side.

He was quick to point out that it was only because LeBron is playing with a renewed passion that he has gained credibility in the analyst's eyes - apparently his four MVP Awards, 10 All-Star appearances and two NBA titles don't count for much!

"I'm applauding this new guy who's finally doing what I've exhorted him to since he all but announced he was the Next Jordan coming out of high school,"

"I love Angry LeBron," he wrote.

And it seems the controversial reporter sees the role of Kevin Durant as key to the recent angry Lebron who scored a career-high 61 earlier this week.

"He started taking uncharacteristic shots at Durant...

"I saw killer instinct without a flinch of doubt. I saw some MJ."

But it wasn't all positive as Beyless dissected LeBron's earlier career, criticising the Heat superstar for not quite living up to his potential.

What more could he have done Skip?

Whether James is really playing with a new kind of mindset is doubtful but we have to admit that he has definitely begun to up his game in recent weeks to the levels that most of us - and now even Skip Beyless - have become used to.
