Ex-NFL star, Darren Sharper admitted to witnesses that he did rape two women in New Orleans according to investigators.
TMZ Sports report that investigators in Louisiana have filed an arrest warrant for a second man in the case which alleges that both men had non-consensual sex with the two women who have been described as "substantially impaired".
The incident is said to have taken place in September. Sharper is also accused of rapes in Los Angeles that took place in October of 2013 and January of this year.
The New Orleans investigators report says:
"Through further investigation by the detectives it was learned that Nunez and Sharper admitted to other known witnesses that he and Sharper had vaginal and/or oral sex with victims #1 and #2 without their knowledge or permission."
Sharper retired from the NFL in 2011 after a 14-year career which included five pro bowl selections.
The player was released on a $1 million bond from a Los Angeles jail, the amount of the bond was raised by $800,000 at the request of the prosecution. He is banned from entering any premises that serve alcohol and from being alone with any women that he did not have a relationship with prior to the first rape offense.
