Barcelona are considering making one final attempt to sign Robin van Persie, who is currently unhappy at Manchester United, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.
The 30-year-old - who has also been linked with Chelsea, Juventus, Arsenal and AS Monaco in recent days - is on the radar of Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino.
Sport claim that Manchester United will aim to fetch between €18 and €20m for the unsettled Van Persie - although that figure could be reduced if the Red Devils and Barcelona agree to use midfielder Alex Song as a makeweight in the deal.
Manchester United are in the market for at least one top-class central midfielder this summer and may agree to take the former Arsenal star from Barcelona as part of the transfer.
Van Persie, who joined United following a controversial £24m transfer from Arsenal in 2012, has grown increasingly disillusioned with life at Old Trafford since David Moyes replaced Sir Alex Ferguson last summer.
It's believed that the pair have an "uneasy relationship", while Moyes is seriously considering offloading the Dutchman as a result of his poor attitude.
