Arsenal and Manchester United are keeping tabs on Sheffield United's teenage sensation Diego de Girolamo.

According to the Daily Mail, the Italy under-19 international remains a target for Arsenal and United, with Everton also thought to be tracking the 18-year-old.

He was in action for his country on Wednesday, coming off the substitutes bench to score in Italy's 1-1 draw with Germany.

But the teenage striker is not just in-demand at club level, with England still interested in calling him up.

The Chesterfield-born striker plays for Italy as his dad comes from Naples, but the FA remain interested in bringing him into the England set-up before he reaches full senior level.

Before his cruciate ligament injury, United and Arsenal scouts were keeping track of his progress at Sheffield United - and the report claims the forward is still attracting interest.

Italian coaching legend Arrigo Sacchi is thought to be a big fan, and Italy are desperate to keep hold of one of their most promising youngsters amid interest from England.
