It's the end of an era. Devin Hester has left the Chicago Bears and with him goes the chance of breaking the return record with his enamoured fans at Soldier Field.
But it seems that there will be teams queuing up to pitch their offers to the future Hall of Famer.
And one possible destination for the 31-year old could be the Kansas City Chiefs.
According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Chiefs may be a team that lands Hester thanks to his relationship with special teams coach Dave Toub.
"As we look at potential landing spots for Devin Hester, consider he’s still very close with #Chiefs ST coach Dave Toub from their Chi days"
Toub was on Lovie Smith's coaching staff in his time at the Bears and worked immensely with Hester.
It could be possible that if Hester is interested in reuniting with Smith at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, then he would also not shake his head at a reunion with Toub in Kansas City.
A move to the Chiefs could do wonders for Hester and the side. There is still life in the old dog yet and in new surroundings with cheering fans who knows if he can burst out one of his trademark cuts and take a punt all the way like in his prime
