Former UFC fighter, Thiago Silva has been released from jail on bond following an alleged gun attack involving his wife in February according to TMZ Sports.

Silva was arrested on February 7th and was originally held without bond but today the decision makers changed their mind and released the fighter on a bond of $25,000.

The Brazilian will still be on house arrest where he will be subject to random alcohol and drug tests. He is not allowed to see his wife or her boyfriend per the terms of his release.

According to reports, Silva allegedly threatened to shoot 25 people including his wife inside a jiu-jitsu center. His wife, who is dating the owner of the center also reported that she had received threatening text messages from the fighter.

Silva has since been released from his contract with UFC and told that he will never fight in any UFC events again.

During his mixed martial art career, Silva has entered 21 bouts of which he has won 16 and lost three with two no contests.

Silva will be due back in court within the month.
