Tony Pulis is set to be named as the new manager of Championship strugglers Plymouth on Saturday.

Assistant manager Jocky Scott has been in temporary charge of first-team affairs since Bobby Williamson was sacked earlier this month. However, the Pilgrims board look likely to offer the job to former Stoke boss Pulis instead.

The Welshman told PA Sport: "Plymouth have offered it to me and I hope something will be sorted out within the next 24 hours."
