Manchester United boss David Moyes is focusing his attention on signing Borussia Dortmund pair Ilkay Gundogan and Marco Reus - rather than Juventus' Paul Pogba.
Moyes will instead try to complete deals for German internationals Gundogan and Reus.
The Manchester United manager will be given £200million to spend on new signings in the summer with the Scotsman desperate to improve his midfield options.
Moyes had hoped to rectify Sir Alex Ferguson's previous mistake of letting Pogba leave for Juventus for free in 2012, however the 20-year-old is said to favour a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Gundogan and Reus' international teammate Toni Kroos is also said to be on Moyes' summer wish-list.
The Bayern Munich midfielder, who is expected to start against Arsenal tomorrow, has revealed he would be keen on experiencing life in the Premier League.
