A mystery Premier League side made a move for Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos, according to the defender's agent.
The Spanish international has been linked with moves to Manchester City and Chelsea in the past - but it is not yet clear who the interested club is.
Real Madrid defender Ramos is said to be happy in Spain - for the time being at least - and the La Liga giants are unlikely to want to sell the 27-year-old defender.
Ramos' agent and brother Rene Ramos, speaking to the Metro, said on the former Sevilla defender: "Out of respect to the club I will only say that they are English.
"The offers are very, very big in economical terms, but we are at the club we want to be at. The best in the world.
"So, more than once, I had to say 'Thanks very much for your interest, but no'. I reiterate, right now, leaving Real Madrid is a non-starter."
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is yet to begin negotiations with Ramos' camp - despite the fact that he has just two years left on his current deal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester City will be keeping close tabs on Ramos' contract situation at Real Madrid as both sides are in the market for a new centre-back.
Manchester United are also scouting the market for a new centre-back but are said to be keen on Ezequiel Garay and Eliaquim Mangala.
