WWE legend Hulk Hogan has added his voice to those clamouring to see the return of CM Punk, according to reports in the U.S.

Hogan, who is perhaps one of the most famous wrestlers of all time, was asked for his thoughts on Punk’s departure and, though not going as far as to reveal any information he might have been privy to, he did state that he hoped his colleagues sabbatical from the sport was a short one.

"I don't know anything about it. You know what I hope? I hope he's on a short vacation. He's probably in Hawaii somewhere,” Hogan told reporters.

Punk’s acrimonious exit from the company has left many confused and wanting answers, though the man himself has remained tight-lipped as to the exact reason of his departure. Numerous rumours have surfaced, though it’s unlikely that the majority of them are anywhere near close to the mark.

As for Hogan, the 12-time world champion has only just returned himself to the WWE, with it announced last month that he would be a special host of the next Wrestlemania.
