Manchester United may have had their difficulties this season but Rio Ferdinand was in no mood to mope around as he enjoyed a dose of Craig David while on his way to training.

The Red Devils have struggled with life without Sir Alex Ferguson following his retirement in the summer and are experiencing a lengthy transition period under David Moyes in his first year at the helm.

Despite their on-field troubles, the club are showing signs of improvements following two Premier League wins on the bounce and as they prepare to welcome Liverpool this weekend, Ferdinand certainly woke up on the right side of the bed.

With the hashtag #livingthedream, the 35-year-old was singing along to the Craig David's debut song Fill Me In, which was first released in 2000.

The England international will no doubt hope he has as much enthusiasm when he side face their fierce rivals on Sunday as they make a late challenge for Champions League qualification.

The Premier League champions are sixth in the league but are nine points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.
