Alan Pardew: Newcastle United

Alan Pardew has found himself in hot water after he aimed a headbutt at Hull City midfielder David Meyler, but there's no denying his managerial ability. 

He wasn't a bad player either and will be fondly remembered for his stints at South London rivals Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic. 

It was seen as a controversial appointment when Pardew was named as Newcastle boss but Pardew has enjoyed a successful period at St James Park and was named Manager of the Season in his first full season in charge after securing Europe League
