Dean Smith: Walsall

Dean Smith is another young manager that has impressed in the lower leagues following his appointment as Walsall manager in 2011. 

It was a dream move for Smith after beginning his playing career at the club and going on to play more than 140 league matches.

After returning to the club in 2009 as Head of Youth, who worked his way up through the ranks and was announced as Chris Hutchings' successor two years later.

Walsall are fighting for a play-off place in League One this season and are seven points off sixth place.
