Darren Ferguson: Peterborough United

The son of Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson, Darren Ferguson was re-appointed as Peterborough United manager in January 2011 after his move to Preston didn't go to plan.

Since his return, he has secured promotion to the Championship and despite an immediate relegation, they are vying for an instant return to the second tier.

What Ferguson has done well at Peterborough is nurturing talent, with the likes of Aaron McLean, George Boyd and Dwight Gayle all developing at the club before being sold for big bucks.
