Lamarr Houston has become one of the first names to sign up for a new team as NFL Free Agency kicks into overdrive.

The defensive end has been with the Raiders for five season but, according to league sources, has signed with the Chicago Bears for the 2014 season.

According to ESPN Insider Adam Schefter the deal is worth $35 million over five years.

Houston was one of the most highly touted defensive lineman in this year's free agency class.

He finished last season with 69 tackles, two forced fumbles and six sacks.

The Chicago Bears have been quick to act with this move as they look to secure their defensive options, and at just 26-years old Houston has the potential to develop into a strong starter.

Houston was a round two pick back in 2010 and will leave the Raiders after accumulating 228 tackles, 16 sacks and four forced fumbles in all.
