WWE superstar Fandango believes CM Punk could still return to the industry before WrestleMania, reports digitalspy.co.uk.
Punk hasn't been seen in the WWE since he lasted over an hour in January's Royal Rumble and now Fandango has hinted that he could make a return.
Wrestling fans had previously geared themselves for a Punk return at Monday Night Raw in Chicago on March 3, however the superstar failed to appear.
But now, Fandango has given fans hope that Punk could return to the company before WrestleMania on April 6.
Fandango has insisted that a surprise could be around the corner, as he told reporters: "With the WWE you never know who's going to come back at any time.
"Whether it's The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho. Every week you tune in there could be a surprise.
"I really can't tell you there, but I'm always excited to turn on WWE with the chance of someone coming back. So you never know."
With just weeks to go until the biggest showcase of the year, speculation regarding Punk's future looks set to heat up.
It remains to be seen as to whether Punk does make a return before the 'Grandest Stage of them All', but the event, which will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, looks set to excite the 'Wrestling Universe'.
