Darren Sproles of the New Orleans Saints finds out through twitter that the franchise plan to trade the running back.

Sproles had originally thought that he was going to be cut by the Saints but found out on twitter, like the rest of us, that he was going to be traded away.

NFL on ESPN tweeted the breaking rumours: "THIS JUST IN: Saints now plan to trade RB Darren Sproles due to heavy interest. He will not be released."

Sproles who was active on twitter as the information was announced responded to the news by simply tweeting "WOW", to which NFL on ESPN retweeted.

The 5 ft 6 inch running back was understandably unhappy with the news and took to twitter to portray his emotions: "The stuff u find out on twitter"

The electrifying halfback and return specialist is receiving a lot of interest around the league, the Saints had planned to release him from his contract but upon learning of his interest from other teams, they realised they could gain valuable assets from trading Sproles away.
