Geoff Schwartz has been taken off the free agency market by the New York Giants only three days after being taken off the dating market by his bride Merideth.

The ex-Chiefs lineman and newly acquired Giant had to postpone his honeymoon in order to travel to New York to sign with his new franchise.

The news about the honeymoon postponement came about through the official twitter account of Schwartz who tweeted on Tuesday of the trip to New York for his new deal with the Giants.

The offensive lineman has played both the tackle and guard position in his career and started eight games for the Kansas City Chiefs last season.

Schwartz has previously played for the Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings before the Chiefs and now finds a new home in New York.

A honeymoon trip with his new bride will host double the celebration for the Schwartz household as they celebrate their marriage and another step in the career of the offensive lineman.
