Alvaro Morata has evidently not enjoyed his time at the Santiago Bernabeu recently and is being targeted by top clubs around the world, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal also on the list.
According to ESPN, the Old Trafford club are considering a swoop for the 21-year-old and may even be desperate to secure the signature of a player who's dubbed as a "promising talent"
Real Madrid do know that the player who is labelled as "promising" surely does have a bright future ahead of him and Los Blancos are reluctant to off load him to another club.
His contract is to run down in 2015 and Madrid are highly desperate to hold onto him until he develops into a top drawer player. He has not been featuring regularly for Ancelotti's men and this has possibly handed an opportunity to other clubs to land the Spaniard.
With Javier Hernandez on the brink of leaving Old Trafford and Robin van Persie's future also hanging in the balance,United are looking at Morata with an intent of replacing either of the two.
Morata has only barely managed to fully break into the Madrid squad in the last year-and-a-half. Having spent the early part of his career on loan, he scored his first senior goal for the club against Levante on November 11, 2012.
But,this season has evidently let Morata down,he's made 13 appearances and 12 out of them have come from the bench.
