New York Giants want Ravens receiver

Published Add your comment

The New York Giants are set to lose Hakeem Nicks to free agency and it seems that they already have a replacement lined up.

Jacoby Jones, the Baltimore Ravens wide receiver and special teams speed demon, is in The Big Apple today visiting the Giants and he could be set to move their on a more permanent basis if talks go well.

That piece of information was broken by ESPN reporter Josina Anderson but she added the caveat that the special teamer is still also talking with Baltimore so a deal might not be quite as clear and done as you may think.

Jamison Hensley expanded on it further in his free agency piece:

"Jacoby Jones is testing the free-agent market, it will ultimately test how much the Baltimore Ravens value the explosive wide receiver-returner.

On Monday, it was reported that four teams were looking at Jones. On Tuesday, it was revealed that the New York Giants were among those interested teams."

The 29-year old caught 37 passes for 455 yards and two touchdowns in 2013 while adding another touchdown on return duty.
