Liverpool want to bring Argentine forward Juan Iturbe to Merseyside this summer, reports ABola.

The 20-year-old ace, who is currently starring at Hellas Verona - on loan from FC Porto, has been tracked by a number of clubs around Europe in recent time, with the likes of Juventus and Roma reportedly interested in his services.

And, if Liverpool are to bring the star to Anfield, they may have to battle Premier League rivals Chelsea for his signature.

Jose Mourinho's side have been linked with Iturbe in recent time and it appears €15 million will be enough to bring him to the Premier League.

Iturbe looks set for a bright future in the game, having already starred a number of times for the Argentina Under 20 national side.

It remains to be seen as to whether Chelsea and Liverpool go head-to-head for his signature in the summer, but for now the duo will be concentrating on the Premier League title race.

Liverpool currently trail league leaders Chelsea by seven points as the battle at the top heats up.
