Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keeping tabs on Valencia striker Francisco Alcacer.
According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal scouts were in attendance at the Mestalla for the fourth time this season to watch the Spain under-21 forward.
He's bagged nine goals in 19 appearances for Valencia this term, and is tipped as one for the future at the club.
But his impressive performances have attracted interest from Arsenal, who are looking to bring in another striker at the end of the season.
They were linked with a move for a forward during the January transfer window, but that failed to materialise. Wenger instead brought in Kim Kallstrom as midfield cover.
Alcacer, 20, has featured for Spain at every age group from under-16 through to under-21 level.
And after an impressive season on loan at Getafe last season, he returned to Valencia last summer and staked his case for first-team inclusion, even scoring the winner in the 3-2 victory over Barcelona last month.
Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is expected to depart this summer, leaving Wenger with Olivier Giroud and Yaya Sanogo as the club's two senior options up front.
As a result, he's thought to be looking for reinforcements.
