It's NFL free agency time again and that means two things; endless rumours and speculation about who's going where and average players getting millions more dollars than they are worth.

So what better time to take a look at the stars of the league who are already making a ridiculous amount of money for three hours of work on a Sunday for five months a year.

Welcome to the players that make the best and brightest of the Champions League and Premier League look like peasants.

To put things in perspective, with his £300,000 a week, even Wayne Rooney would struggle to crack this list.

That's how much NFL franchise owners pay their star players in the hope of that all-important Super Bowl success.
