Inter Milan, after securing the signing of Nemanja Vidic, are looking to lure Manchester United outcast Javier Hernandez by offering a player as bait, according to reports.

Inter Milan have denied reports surrounding their reported interest in capturing Javier Hernandez, who is quite evidently disenchanted with his life at the Old Trafford based club.

The Mexican has been among the goals this season but has not featured regularly enough. He's managed to start  just four times this season and is tipped to be a prominent part of the major overhaul United are to undergo this coming summer.

However he is on the radar of some big clubs and Inter are said to be considering using Croatian starlet Mateo Kovacic as a bait to lure him to the San Siro.

Kovacic is a versatile midfielder who can operate anywhere in the midfield with an added ability of operating on the flanks. He played a pivotal role in Dinamo Zagreb's consecutive league titles and was also scouted by big German clubs, including Bayern Munich, when he aged just 16.

He was on United's radar before he signed for Inter in 2013 from Dinamo and moreover he could easily settle at Old Trafford, considering the type of players United are in desperate need of.

The midfielder has made 26 appearances in all competitions this season, but has failed to find the back of the net.
