Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain will go head-to-head for Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka in the summer.
The Daily Mail suggest the French champions have joined Liverpool in the race to sign the Ukrainian international at the end of the season.
The Reds came close to landing the £16million man in January - but were unable to conclude a deal for the 24-year-old midfielder before the transfer window slammed shut until the summer.
Liverpool were expected to have a free run on the attacking midfielder, however Paris Saint-Germain have now entered the race to sign Konoplyanka.
Konoplyanka has scored eight goals in 14 games for Dnipro this season - with some of his finest performances coming in the Europa League.
Reports suggest Konoplyanka's representatives have held talks with PSG over the possibility of their client moving to Parc des Princes.
The French giants will have to offer Konoplyanka more than the reported £95,000-a-week deal Liverpool have offered the tricky wideman if they are to land the Dnipro man.
