At the Alabama pro day, A.J. McCarron made some comments that not everyone looking at the NFL Draft would agree with.

McCarron declared himself to be the best available quarterback in the upcoming NFL Draft.

While he might have the team hardware to back up his claims, in the form of two National Championship rings, the scouts have been less kind, and view McCarron as more of a game manager, than a big time NFL passer.

Some of that might have to to with the competition he's facing from the consensus top quarterback from the SEC, Johnny Manziel.

The 2012 Heisman winner is at the top of several mock drafts, but concerns about maturity, mechanics, and NFL ability have sent up some red flags about him.

Both of these players were't even in the discussion in the middle of the season, when Teddy Bridgewater was expected by many to be the first QB and first player off the board.

Here's a list of the top five quarterbacks in the NFL draft, based on where they should be picked, not necessarily the order in which they will be chosen.
