The center position in the NBA has come under some reconstruction over the past few decades, many analysts conclude that it is in fact evolving.

The big men of the NBA are still dominant forces in the league but don't quite grab all the headlines that they used too, it has been said that the european-style face to the basket kind of center is the way forward in the league.

We have a delightful blend of styles in the league at the moment and this list is designed to decipher the most talented centers in todays game.

The All-Star game recently altered its voting system where centers were considered front court forwards and fans were able to vote for more back court members for their all star squad.

The worry for the league is that the position is demonising in value but there are still a few post proficient big-men of old in the league and a couple appear on this list.

Let us know your opinion of the best centers in the league and enjoy the top five.
