The College Football season is never over and news of Richard Smith's release from Arizona State has quickly been followed by the update that he will be transferring.

The Arizona State Sun Devils announced this week that starting wide receiver Smith has been released from his scholarship.

Now Smith on the verge of finding another programme to utilize his talents at the wide-receiver position.

At this stage it's not known where Smith will end up, but there have been rumors that Boise State could be his potential future destination.

The 5ft 9inches wide-receiver sent out a tweet yesterday that might give fans an idea of where he will end up.

Smith tweeted Thursday, "Airport going to Boise🐴 for this visit."

Next season Smith will be playing as a junior after he caught 32 passes for 276 yards and two touchdowns in the 2013 NCAA season.

His overall season performance was a mixed bag of bad and great.

He made some costly errors in ASU’s loss to Notre Dame, but the following week he made up for that with the game-winning touchdown against the Utah Utes.
