WWE drop big hint about CM Punk return

Published 3 Comments

Could CM Punk return to the WWE in time for WrestleMania? Well the company may have just dropped a very big hint.

Three t-shirts have been released to commemorate WrestleMania XXX and every single one of them has the superstar front and centre.

The shirts, which can be seen here on WrestlingInc.com and come courtesy of Ringside Collectibles, all commemorate the wrestling company's flagship event.

The organization are usually incredibly big on saving face so it feels unlikely that they would let something like this happen that could lead to such public ridicule about marketing a star who won't even be there.

So it does beg the question, are the WWE hopeful of a Punk return in time for April 6th.

Despite his connection with many fans in the wrestling universe, Punk - real name Phillip Jack Brooks - disappeared completely off our television screens a few weeks ago and no word about any possible return has been mentioned.

Little to no explanation for his absence has been given in the meanwhile, with Chairman Vince McMahon briefly saying “He's taking a sabbatical, let's just put it that way."

The 36-year old is missed in the WWE, and along with Daniel Bryan and the "YES Movement" is currently one of the hottest topics of debate.

So will Punk be returning or are the shirts just an error? Give us your take below.
