Rivaldo retires: His greatest goals and skills

Published 1 Comments

It's time to say goodbye to another great of the modern game.

Rivaldo has decided to call it a day at the grand old age of 41 - having spent the last few years of his career in the backwaters of world football.

Of course he will always be remembered for a few iconic moments - his stunning late strike against Valencia, his, ahem, less than convincing play acting at the World Cup and for being one of the best players on the planet while he was at his peak.

Arriving at Barcelona from Deportivo La Coruna, the Brazilian was blessed with unbelievable skill and could change an entire game in one moment with an absolute wand of a left boot.

While it is always sad to say goodbye to such a talented player it gives us a great excuse to check out some of the most magical moments of his illustrious career.

Check out his best goals and skills in the video above!
