Despite the recent Champions League exit at the hands of Bayern Munich, Arsenal are still having a good season and it could well end in glory if they can step up their performances in the next few weeks.
However, at the moment it looks as though Chelsea and Manchester City will have the edge over them in the Premier League title race, not to mention an in-form Liverpool side. If Arsene Wenger's team can claw back the points difference it will be a hugely impressive feat, especially as their March schedule could probably not be more difficult.
An FA Cup semi-final against Wigan Athletic and the other semi-final seeing Hull City go up against Sheffield United, Arsenal are major favourites to win that trophy nine years after they last lifted it. Whatever happens this season, Arsenal are are building a solid base to step up another level next season and challenge perhaps more fiercely. Though Wenger will need to make a few additions if they are to go back to the pinnacle of the Premier League in the manner they did when he first in England 17 years ago.
