Dani Alves

Reports in Spain recently have claimed that Barcelona may be ready to let the Brazil international leave instead of giving him a lucrative contract extension - any Premier League side worth their salt will be doing all they can to land him.

Few full-backs have been so important in an attacking sense as Alves in the last few years; he was a vital component of the domination experienced by the Catalan giants over the past few years. His late runs behind opposition defences and lethal crossing have stood him out as possibly the best full-back in world football.

Arsenal could see Bacary Sagna leave come the summer and there would be few better replacements than the 30-year-old. Brazil host the World Cup this summer and Alves will have a chance to show the world that he still has what it takes to produce at the highest level, as he is certain to start for the hosts.
