David Moyes has to go, says Keys

Manchester United ought to part ways with David Moyes, according to Richard Keys, who has penned an eagerly-awaited blog dissecting the issues at Old Trafford. Keys' blog, found on his official website, provides entertainment - not usually deliberately - like few others, and this time it is Moyes who is in the crosshairs of the former Sky Sports anchor.

Many have had their respective say on Moyes, but none quite have the gravitas of Keys, who believes the time is right for the former Everton manager to be relieved of his duties. Keys had hoped Moyes would be a success with Manchester United, but has now reached a point where he is unable to see this occurring.

Manchester United were 'awful' against Liverpool, he says, while adding that it has become apparent that Moyes does not have the backing of enough of his players. Keys also lets us into a secret - he was told months ago that there are many that contest Moyes and his staff, creating an 'us v them' mentality at Manchester United.

This, should be the end for Moyes, and Keys has urged Manchester United to keep Sir Alex Ferguson from any decision making on this occasion. Ferguson's ego, reckons Keys, cost the club the opportunity to hire Jose Mourinho. Manchester United, you have been warned.
