With the Premier League heading for an incredibly exciting conclusion at both the top and the bottom, you would think bosses of the respective clubs involved in the excitement would have enough on their plates.

Do not be surprised. however, if you hear that they are already planning recruitment strategies for the coming summer and draw up their shopping lists. That's correct, transfer envoys will already have been despatched with suitcases full of cash to lure fellow clubs into selling their best assets.

It happens every year, so there is little to be surprised about when the transfer rumours get bandied around. However, there are certain transfers that have been mooted and should ignite fear in rivals of the clubs linked with the big-money moves.

There are a number of leading sides around Europe that need only add one or two stars to complete the look of their respective squads and the signing of such a player will make them difficult to stop.
