LeBron James was finally able to give a debut to his new Nike shoes earlier this month and, while he takes the latest in his line of sneakers on a test drive, the presence of his Nike LeBron X Elite PE remains in the NBA.
LeBron has, for some time indeed, been desperate to get his new prototypes ready, but sent them back to the lab at the end of last year for some redefining. And, while he is wearing what will presumably be called the XI Elite, some of his competitors will be casting an eager eye.
This is because nine other players in the NBA wear LeBron's branded shoes, the X Elite PE to be precise, and they will surely be keen to see what they will be able to get their respective hands on for next season.
Chris Andersen, Trevor Booker, DeMarre Carroll, Glen Davis, Draymond Green, Al Harrington, Jason Maxiell, Marcus Morris and Marvin Williams are the players on the Nike roster who lace up the LeBron shoes, and it may well be that the continue to do so when they next product is released.
While there are nine players wearing LeBron James shoes, the most popular sneakers among the stars of the NBA are the Hyperdunk 2013, with 79 players wearing these at the moment. Thanks to HoopsHype for the stats.
