Jack Wilshere continues to wear protective boot

Jack Wilshere's chances of making a quick comeback appear to be slim as the Arsenal midfielder is still wearing a protective boot.

Wilshere, who broke his foot during England's friendly match against Denmark at the beginning of March, is expected to be out for a further two weeks.

The 22-year-old midfielder picked up the injury after a crunching challenge by Liverpool defender Daniel Agger.

Wilshere tried to play on with the injury but was eventually substituted in the 59th minute of England's 1-0 win against Denmark.

The Arsenal midfielder have missed the tenacious midfielder as the England international has won just two games out of a possible five since he sustained the injury.

Wilshere will be hoping he can return in time to have a say in the final few games in the title race and prove to England boss Roy Hodgson that he is fully fit for the upcoming World Cup in Brazil.
