WWE superstar John Cena appears to be in talks over a new big-screen film role, reports suggest.

According to American entertainment-trade magazine Variety, Cena is in discussions to join the case of 'Trainwreck' - a film set to be directed by producer and comedian Judd Apatow.

Specific details concerning the plot of the film have yet to be released, but it is believed that Barkhad Abdi - who rose to fame for his Oscar-nominated performance alongside Tom Hanks in 2013 blockbuster Captain Phillips - is also in negotiations to make an appearance.

This is certainly not the first time that Cena - who has been one of the main faces of the WWE for over a decade now - will appear on the big screen, with the 11-time champion having starred in other motion pictures such as 'The Marine' in 2006 and '12 Rounds' in 2009.

Cena's immediate attentions will have to turn back to wrestling matters in the near future, however, with the popular 36-year-old set to feature once again at the greatest show on earth - Wrestlemania XXX - against Bray Wyatt at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in
New Orleans, Louisiana on April 21.

WWE fans, what are your thoughts on Cena? Do you think he will defeat Wyatt to end that particular feud? Let us know in the comment box provided below...
