EA Sports have released a visually stunning trailer showing the actual gameplay footage from their first ever official release with the UFC, which is being made only for PS4 and Xbox One.

This creation is a maiden joint venture between EA Sports and UFC, with the video game developers having previously launched an MMA game in 2010, but it was not created in conjunction with the sport’s biggest organisation.

UFC had been on the roster of another developer, THQ, but EA Sports swooped to pick up the pieces after their competitor went bust. And their creation looks truly spectacular, with a quite breathtaking attention to detail by the EA Sports boffins.

The trailer released shows punches and kicks in all their bone-shuddering glory, while also making submission holds appear more realistic than ever. The likes of Cain Velasquez, Jon Jones and Ronda Rousey are instantly recognisable, with each digital fighter crafted down to the finest of points.

There is no confirmed release date for the game just yet, but it will reportedly hit shelves for PS4 and Xbox One users at some point during the spring. So, not too long to wait for UFC fans to get their hands on what looks like a pretty striking game.
