NFL Draft prospect Derek Carr will be present at his pro day today despite the fact that he was suffering from sickness last night in the build-up to his big day.

The former Fresno quarterback was so ill that he had to be administered to hospital for a check up that included receiving IV’s, but that won’t hold him back from the biggest day of his career so far.

Carr's illness could either make or break the QB, with it having the potential to disrupt his day so much so that prospective NFL teams are put off him.

Alternatively, it could make him if he has a great showing Thursday, with NFL teams analyzing his performance with the perspective of him having only just recovered from illness.

Fox Sports NFL insider Mike Garafalo shed light on the QB's physical condition with two tweets this morning.

In them he described Carr's condition as having a stomach bug, but he insists that the QB is raring to go.

"Fresno QB Derek Carr vomited last night and went to the hospital for treatment and IVs, per source. But plans to go thru w pro day in full," Garafolo tweeted

"Backing up on Carr, the hope is it's just a bad stomach bug but they don't know for sure yet. Either way, he refused to cancel mtgs/workouts."
