Jadeveon Clowney may well be drafted number one in the 2014 NFL Draft, but speaking to Fansided.com he mentioned where he would actually want to play if he had the choice.
The South Carolina native feels like he deserves to be the first name called at Radio City, New York in May, but says he definitely has his preferences of where to go if the Houston Texans decide to go another way.
When asked by Jack Jorgensen if there was anywhere in particular, the 21-year old replied:
"If I don’t go to Houston, I would probably like to stay close to home and play for either the Jacksonville Jaguars (who own the third pick) or Atlanta Falcons (who own the sixth pick)."
In the rest of the interview Clowney spoke his draft preparation and answering the critics.
Clowney mentioned that when he hears so called experts talking about Clowney taking plays off, all he can do is laugh at them.
The physical specimen told them to just watch his tape and then they'd know better. Clowney went on to call himself the hardest working player there is and that the team that gets him will have nothing but a bonafide winner on their hands.
He also went on to say that he was incredibly happy with his draft preparation and his performance in the combine, where he posted a 4.53 40 yard dash time.
Jadeveon Clowney is one of the greatest physical specimens there has been in college football since the likes of Marcus Dupree and Bo Jackson, and he'll be hoping to become even better.
