Kofi Kingston reveals plans to turn heel

Kofi Kingston is bored with being a good guy.

The WWE wrestler spoke recently about his career ambitions and revealed his plans to turn heel:

"I've been clamoring at that for a while now, but the situation has to be right and the timing has to be right; everything has to be right," he told Bleacher Report.

Kingston has been with the organization since signing a development contract in 2006 and has gone on to become a popular figure with WWE fans for his flamboyant style.

But the Ghana native wants a new challenge as WrestleMania approaches:

"If the situation was right, it would give me a chance to do something completely different and show people a side of me they have never seen before.

"I think (it) would be great and I think (it) would be fun."

Overall Kingston has 10 titles to his name in his seven years as a pro wrestler but he is still waiting for his breakout WrestleMania moment and some believe a change in character could improve his chances.

But he isn't ready to turn without incentive from the WWE:

"I wouldn't want to just do it for the sake of doing it because you might get lost in the shuffle that way."

It might be hard to imagine Kofi Kingston turning heel, what with his outstanding work outside the ring, but the WWE are well versed in changing-up storylines for their numerous wrestlers and it would certainly be interesting to see how they went about turning Kingston into a disliked figure inside the ring.
