New Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle, Henry Melton may be considered a productive NFL player but he has not always felt the same amount of love from the Madden video game.
Melton revealed that he has only recently started playing the game again after feeling disrespected by the game's rankings.
"I just got into Madden. I wasn't playing it for a while just because they didn't have my ratings right. I was boycotting the game." Melton told Dallasnews.com recently.
Melton has recorded 15.5 sacks over four years with the Chicago Bears, however he clearly felt that the ratings that were assigned to him in past editions of the game have not reflected that.
Adrian Peterson and Calvin Johnson were the highest rated offensive players in Madden 25 last year with 99 ratings. Only JJ Watt of the Houston Texans received 99 on the defensive side of the ball.
It remains to be seen what ratings Madden assign Melton and the Cowboys this year but I'm sure that the former Bears man will first want to make sure Dallas improve from their 8-8 season from last year.
