New Orleans Saints center Brian De la Puente is attracting plenty of interest from other NFL franchises according to ESPN.

They report that he has already visited the Washington Redskins and if he doesn't sign a deal there then plenty of other teams are ready and willing to take him on.

There remains a chance that he could re-sign with the Saints having been allowed to become a free agent, although they are in danger of missing out if they don't act quickly.

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Caplan reports that there is a chance that the Saints will target a move to snap up free agent Jonathan Goodwin if De la Puente isn't re-signed.

It has been an offseason of upheaval for the Saints so far - and two of the players they have let go have recently found a home with new teams.

Fullback Jed Collins, who until Erik Lorig was signed last week had thought he was staying in New Orleans, has now signed with the Detroit Lions.

Defensive Linesman Tom Johnson has hooked up with the Minnesota Vikings. Former Saints offensive tackle Charles Brown will visit with the New York Giants according to ESPN while former Saints man Chris Carr has announced his decision to retire.
