So it seems Snoop Dogg isn't the only talented individual in his family.
The rappers son - Cordell Broadus - is a promising high school football player and is being massively recruited by lots of colleges interested in his services.
Broadus is a four star recruit and one of the top wide receivers available in the nation in the class of 2015. The 6-foot-3, 186-pound wideout Broadus already has scholarship offers from the likes of FSU, LSU, Notre Dame, USC and Baylor.
But it seems like all those sides could end up missing out on the talented teenager, with the news that the best quarterback in the class of 2015 - Josh Rosen - has committed to UCLA and the Bruins in California.
Broadus has always spoken about having a great connection with Rosen when they have played together at various workouts and training camps, and the two have become good friends.
And it seems increasingly likely that having now made his decision, Rosen will become a major recruiting piece for UCLA and look to use him to try and influence others to become freshman at the university with him in 2015.
With a famous father, a lot of his similarly famous friends have spoken out about where Snoop Jr should play his college ball.
After Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III texted Snoop asking if his son was going to Baylor, Super Bowl winner Keyshawn Johnson told Broadus to play for UCLA rivals USC.
Broadus caught 60 passes for 685 yards and eight touchdowns last fall, before transferring to Bishop Gorman, a football powerhouse school in Las Vegas to try and improve his game.
Only time will tell where Cordell Broadus does end up, but whoever lands him has a real talent on their hands.
