3. Norfolk St. 86, Missouri 84 (OT) Almost like a 16 beating a 1...almost

The most recent entry into the list (with apologies to Florida Gulf Coast) was a wildly entertaining offensive shootout, which saw both teams shoot over 52 percent from the floor, Norfolk St. pulled out a squeaker over the heavily favored Tigers.

On selection Sunday, folks around the college basketball world were saying that Missouri should have been a number one seed.

Norfolk St. was 26-10, and champions of the MEAC conference, making their first tournament appeareance in school history, and it was a memorable one.

Spartans' center Kyle O'Quinn had 26 points and 14 rebounds in a dominant perfrmance, and famously shouted after the game, "We messed up some brackets! We messed up some brackets!"
